Official User Terms, Participation Rules & Platform Agreement
1. Preamble & Binding Agreement
By creating an account, downloading the application, or accessing Playzo Pe ('Platform'), you unequivocally agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Fair Play Policy. If you do not agree to every provision, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.
2. Classification as a Game of Skill
All games hosted on Playzo Pe (including Ludo, Chess, Snakes & Ladders, and ) are strictly 'Games of Skill' under Indian law. In accordance with landmark judgments of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India (State of Bombay v. R.M.D. Chamarbaugwala and K.R. Lakshmanan v. State of Tamil Nadu), the outcomes of skill-based contests depend predominantly on the player's strategic knowledge, analytical acumen, calculation, reflexes, and decision-making capabilities, protected under Article 19(1)(g) of the Constitution of India.
3. Strict Age Limit (18+ Only)
Participation in any coin-entry contest or reward challenge is strictly limited to individuals who have attained 18 years of age. Minors are barred from registration. Any account created with forged age credentials will be instantly terminated, and any accrued balances will be forfeited.
4. State-Wise Jurisdictional Restrictions
Residents of Indian states where participation in paid skill contests with real prize redemptions is prohibited by local legislation (including Assam, Odisha, Nagaland, Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and any other restricted jurisdictions) are strictly prohibited from entering paid coin matches. Free practice modes remain accessible where permitted.
5. User Account Registration & Mobile Verification
Users must register using their own active, verifiable Indian mobile phone number. Account verification is performed via One-Time Passwords (OTP). Users are solely responsible for all actions taken under their registered credentials.
6. Single Account Policy & Hardware Binding
Each player is permitted to operate exactly one account across the Platform. Operating multiple accounts, duplicate profiles, or accessing accounts from cloned application environments on the same physical device is strictly prohibited.
7. KYC (Know Your Customer) Compliance
Playzo Pe reserves the right to mandate KYC verification (submission of Govt-issued ID such as PAN Card, Aadhaar, or Voter ID) prior to approving large coin redemptions, tournament payouts, or processing dispute inquiries.
8. Game Coin Architecture & Wallet Classification
In-App Coins comprise three distinct categories: (a) Deposit Coins acquired via authorized payment gateways, (b) Winning Coins earned from contest victories, and (c) Bonus/Promotional Coins granted via events and referrals. Coins represent digital game utility points and carry no commercial value outside Platform redemption.
9. In-App Purchases & Deposit Terms
Users may acquire Game Coins through authorized Indian payment channels (UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards). All deposit transactions are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are non-transferable between different user accounts.
10. Voucher Redemption Policy & Delivery Timelines
Winning Coin balances can be redeemed in the Redeem Store for genuine brand digital vouchers (Amazon Pay, Google Play, Flipkart, Myntra). Gift card codes are transmitted to the user's verified email address within 24 business hours following standard security checks.
11. Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) under Section 194BA
In strict compliance with the Income Tax Act 1961 (Section 194BA) and Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) regulations, applicable TDS (currently 30%) is deducted on net winnings at the time of redemption or financial year-end reconciliation. Appropriate TDS certificates will be issued.
12. Refund, Cancellation & Aborted Match Protocols
In the event a match or tournament is cancelled due to server outages, software malfunction, or confirmed technical disruptions, 100% of the coin entry fee will be credited back to each participant's coin wallet automatically.
13. Standard Game Rules & Scoring Systems
Each game mode operates under standardized, published rules (such as 1v1 Classic Ludo, 12-Moves Turbo, 4-Player Arenas). Moves, dice rolls, piece capturing, safe zones, and final scoring calculations displayed on the interface are conclusive.
14. Strict Turn Clocks & Hearts (Life) Penalty
To ensure swift gameplay, each player is allotted a fixed 15-second turn timer. Failing to make a move before the timer expires consumes one (1) match life (Heart). Exhaustion of all three (3) lives results in automatic match forfeit.
15. Disconnection Handling & Smart Auto-Play
During temporary client-side network interruptions, Playzo Pe activates a temporary Auto-Play safety buffer for up to 30 seconds to prevent immediate match dropping. Reconnecting restores full manual control.
16. Dynamic Matchmaking & Fair Pairing
Players are matched against live opponents strictly based on matching coin tier, chosen game mode, and competitive MMR rating. Matchmaking is fully automated with zero human or preferential intervention.
17. Anti-Collusion & Soft-Play Disqualification
Coordinating with opponents, intentional feeding of points, throwing matches, or pre-arranging tournament results is strictly prohibited and leads to immediate disqualification of all participating accounts.
18. Absolute Ban on Hacks, Cheats & Modded APKs
The use of modified application binaries (modded APKs), automated script bots, memory editors (GameGuardian), or packet interceptors is strictly prohibited and triggers an irreversible permanent hardware device ban.
19. Anti-Emulator & Virtual Environment Restrictions
Playzo Pe enforces real-time client integrity security. Running the application within PC emulators (BlueStacks, Nox, LDPlayer, MEmu), virtual sandboxes, or dual-space cloners is forbidden.
20. Anti-Mock Location & VPN Restrictions
Simulating GPS coordinates through mock-location tools, proxy networks, or VPN tunnels to conceal geographic location or bypass jurisdictional bans is actively blocked by native security routines.
21. Referral Program Terms & Anti-Abuse Rules
Referral bonuses are provided solely for genuine player invitations. Self-referrals through device manipulation, automated registration bots, or temporary disposable numbers will result in total clawback of referral coins.
22. Tournament Rules & Leaderboard Competitions
Tournaments operate on fixed schedule brackets or dynamic point accumulation models. Final leaderboard standings, prize pool coin disbursements, and tie-breaking algorithms published in the tournament lobby are binding.
23. In-Game Communication & Community Code
Chat features, quick phrases, and audio emotes must be utilized respectfully. Obscenity, harassment, abusive slurs, hate speech, or sharing contact information is subject to immediate chat and account bans.
24. Dormant Accounts & Unclaimed Balances
Accounts with zero login activity for a consecutive period exceeding twelve (12) calendar months may be categorized as dormant, and promotional/bonus coin balances may expire in accordance with platform policies.
25. Intellectual Property & Proprietary Rights
All software code, 3D graphics, character gotis, sound assets, user interface layouts, trademarks, and logos are exclusive intellectual property of Playzo Pe. Decompilation, disassembly, or asset extraction is prohibited.
26. Account Freezing, Suspension & Termination
Playzo Pe reserves the autonomous right to temporarily freeze or permanently terminate user accounts under active fraud investigation or for breach of any clause in these Terms.
27. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform services are provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis without warranties of any kind regarding third-party telecommunication latency, device compatibility, or carrier drops.
28. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Playzo Pe, its directors, or affiliates be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Maximum cumulative liability is strictly limited to the coin entry fee paid for the contested match.
29. User Indemnification Obligations
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Playzo Pe, its officers, employees, and agents against any claims, damages, losses, or legal liabilities arising from your violation of these Terms or applicable laws of India.
30. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Grievance Redressal
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of India. In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules 2021, users may reach our designated Grievance Officer at grievance@playzope.com.
